"In 1845, when Henry Wilson first purchased 100 acres of land here in Lawson and built the first ‘Blue Mountain Inn’, he probably didn’t realise he was putting The Blue Mountains on the map for all eternity.In honour of Mr Wilson, we’ve kept things pretty traditional around here.Great company, classic food, warm friendly smiles and cold beer. Probably the best pub I've been to. Been to this pub for countless times now and the quality of service remains the same. 4.5/5 stars if I may say. Not only because of the decent meals (reasonably priced, good portion and good taste) but more because of the friendliness of the staff.

Please understand, this is a pub. The food is completely on par with other pubs. However, the service could be better. Staff were inattentive and we had to wait for both the food and then about 10 minutes to pay. No apologies given. In short, the food was cheap but you could do better.

Excellent halfway point for friends to meet for lunch in mountains. Good food, funny and generous bar manager. We had a ball.

My wife, son, and I went for dinner and it was fantastic and well priced. Had a great atmosphere with the live band playing. Will be coming back.

Delicious meal, came home feeling full and content.  Staff very friendly. definitely go back again.
