A real kiwi experience...We had a cute one bedroom cabin right on Lake Taupo and only10 minutes from Taupo township. Amazing sunsets. The manager, Sue is so lovely, and she allowed our old dog to stay with us for a couple of nights. Dog rules strictly applied. The decor was tasteful and the simple touch of a vase of fresh flowers in the bathroom made us feel right at home. The sepearte bedroom had a large comfortable bed and pillows, and was all made up for us on arrival. The cabin has a flat screen TV in the living area with a small kitchenette, we were very self contained.We enjoyed the fresh lettuce in the little garden in our own private courtyard. Such a treat. Bring your canoe.
