I could only find a video of the standard rooms below, but if you can, book the penthouse. It’s beautiful. I love the layout & huge balconies in the Melbourne one. Touch screen music player with surround sound that is actually good.nMy favourite is always the rooms here. It’s different and a vibe for someone that wants to get their friends together and have a night out without the kids.nThe doors to enter the bathrooms are a bit annoying but other than that, always fresh, neat & clean.nService needs to be reflected upon, they’re always quite slow.nOther than that, W hotels hold events and heaps of other things at there hotels which are amazing for longer holiday purposes
I had the pleasure of enjoying the breakfast buffet at W Melbourne during my stay, and I was really impressed with the selection. It’s not often that hotels go the extra mile to accommodate dietary restrictions, but W Melbourne really nailed it. They offered a great variety of options, including gluten-free bread and a dedicated toaster for those with gluten sensitivities, which is rare and much appreciated. It’s clear that the hotel is mindful of guests with allergies, making it an inclusive experience for people with various dietary needs.nnThe spread itself was diverse, with fresh fruits, pastries, hot dishes, and plenty of healthy options, so there’s something for everyone. It made for a relaxed and enjoyable start to the day. If you have specific dietary requirements, this is definitely a hotel where you’ll feel taken care of!
Best customer service I’ve had in any hotel in Australia. Breakfast was tasty but not many hot food options. The Christmas desserts were a nice surprise.nnThe shower pressure was weak, and the room wasn’t cleaned well, with dust in some areas. Overall, a nice stay but could be better.
I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a wonderful experience, with just a few minor drawbacks. Let’s start with the positives:nnThe hotel room itself was spacious, immaculate, and modern, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. The bed was large and plush, and I especially loved the heated toilet – a unique and luxurious touch that made a big difference, especially during cooler mornings. The room was a peaceful retreat with sleek, contemporary furnishings, and it was equipped with everything I could possibly need for a comfortable stay.nnHowever, when it came to room service, I was a bit disappointed. While the beds were made, the rest of the room was barely touched. The cups were left unwashed, dirty towels were taken away but not replaced, and the rubbish wasn’t removed. I had to request the missing items, which slightly detracted from the otherwise high standard of the accommodation.nnAs for dining, the food was absolutely delicious, offering a great variety of options. However, breakfast left something to be desired. The options were quite limited, and the coffee was unfortunately undrinkable, which was a letdown given how great everything else tasted.nnThe staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, though the breakfast service could have been improved. The waitresses seemed to rush through the service, which created a bit of unnecessary stress for the guests. It would have been nice if they could have slowed down to make the experience feel a bit more relaxed.nnThe highlight of my stay was definitely the pool. It was absolutely stunning and wonderfully warm, offering a perfect place to unwind after a long day.nnIn summary, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a modern, clean, and comfortable stay, with great food and amazing amenities. A few tweaks to the room service and breakfast experience would elevate it to the next level. Despite the minor issues, I had a truly enjoyable stay and would definitely return.
Absolutely fantastic in all regards! From the moment we checked in to our final goodbye, the service and quality of amenities was top tier! The staff were incredibly gracious, accommodating, and engaging. The Manager Chris was especially a gem! Our three-day stay left us feeling like we absolutely have to come back. This is definitely the spot if you need to stay in the Melbourne CBD. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so impressionable and Happy New Year!
