We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne as a family and absolutely loved our experience. It is certainly on the expensive side, but the views from the upper floors are truly spectacular — easily some of the best views I’ve experienced in Melbourne. At night, the sky was filled with stars, and the view was so beautiful that we left the blinds open while we slept.nnThe room was beautiful and incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the bed and pillows and had one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a hotel. The bathroom was another highlight — being able to open the doors and enjoy the view from the bathtub made it feel extra special.nnRoom service was excellent, and the breakfast was also very high quality. Everything about the stay felt relaxing and memorable. Definitely a hotel I would love to stay at again.
We had the most amazing stay in April and cannot thank the team enough for such an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely flawless — truly a 10/10 stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the team went above and beyond to make my best friend’s 40th birthday so special and memorable.nnThe reservations team were warm and welcoming, the spa team were an absolute delight, and all of the hosts were exceptional throughout our stay. A special mention to Le in the restaurant, who was so lovely and attentive — a huge asset to the team.nnOur only wish is that we could have stayed longer! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We cannot wait to return.
We had a wonderful stay at the Ritz Carlton celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary. From the moment we stepped out of our car, to the moment we left, we were made to feel welcomed. The service was next level, staff were so kind, warm and went above and beyond even surprising us with a complementary bottle of champagne. The room and services were spotless. The pool area was amazing and the views from all areas of the hotel were spectacular. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to have the opportunity to stay again. We had the best time at Ritz Carlton Melbourne recently and I can't wait to visit again. I was initially hesitant to book it because of the price but it was 100% worth it. A cut above other hotels in the CBD.nnThe service from all staff was exceptional - reception staff remembered our names throughout our stay, bellboys went out of their way to assist us and everyone made us feel spoilt and special we were celebrating. The staff seemed happy and energised to work there - it was really refreshing.nnThe view from Reception/Bar Level 80 is breath-taking and our room felt super luxurious, spacious and comfortable. All the facilities around the hotel looked fantastic - pool, spa and so on didn't use this time.nnWe added breakfast onto our stay and enjoyed it. Very relaxing ambience and again, a wonderful view. Lots of fresh options in the buffet and the mains were tasty although a little small. My only complaint was that our coffees took aaaages as did the guy's next to us - I'm not sure what was going on with the barista/organisation on that.nnHighly recommend!
This is my fifth time staying at this hotel and I’m here to celebrate my birthday with my husband. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast buffet. Apparently, some menu items have been discontinued. I asked the staff about recent menu changes and they admitted to minor alter. This disappointed me as I had expected the best full line breakfast in Melbourne ,just like my previous 4 stay.nnThe room was great and the service fantastic. However, when compared to The Ritz-Carlton Bangkok, they used better facilities like hair dryers. They even use Dyson. Hopefully, the management team will consider using something that makes guests feel luxurious. The bar has been good so far but the food isn’t the best I’ve had. I’ve tried breakfast ,room service ,dinner and the bar multiple times during my staycations. As a luxury hotel, I expected more. Again,this is a luxury hotel not a five-star one.
