We stayed for one night and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. We wanted a little city getaway with our dog Koko, and from the moment we arrived everyone was so warm and welcoming.nnThe room was spotless, parking was easy, and it was the little thoughtful touches — like being offered an umbrella when it was lightly raining this morning — that really stood out. The hotel was also incredibly quiet and comfortable, and we barely needed the air conditioning or heating overnight as the temperature in the room was perfect.nnWhat made the stay truly special though was the friendliness of every staff member we encountered. It made such a difference and created such a lovely atmosphere.nnWe would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
My family and I love our stay here for seven nights. The room that we had - 2-bedroom apartment was lovely. Rooms were clean, spacious, well-furnished and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful in giving tips since it's Easter holidays and most shops/f&b are closed and a shout-out to Rachida, Cat and rest of the team and housekeeping staff who made our stay a pleasant one.nnAnother plus point is the complimentary coffee, so the early brew is much appreciated.nnOverall, it is a great location near to parks, market, public transport and CBD via tram and good value, will definitely stay here again.
This hotel seems really new and well appointed for a traveller who wants to have kitchen/laundry facilities as well as a really great bed, clean bathroom and quiet stay. I called them last minute when a family member was admitted to The Alfred for an emergency. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating even though most sites said they were booked out. They gave clear instructions for the underground car parking just $15 extra and were very compassionate about my situation. I was in a studio room, which is twice the size of any standard hotel room and less than a standard night in other 4 star hotels. The bed was really comfortable and I was at the back of the building on Level 1 - which was quiet despite the proximity to the laneway. Great shower too.
We stayed here as my hubby had a lung transplant at the alfred hospital.nWe loved our 1 month stay in our one bedroom apartment, we also used the gym area daily.nWe also stayed here for our introduction to the lung team back in October, we only had a studio executive room which was also nice.nLoved the maid service monday-saturday.nNothing was touched for the staff, always friendly and supportivenWe had problems with our TV, and Felix came straight up and fixed out tvnEvery thing was clean, we stayed at the rockmans fir one month prior and dislike it, couldn't wait to get back to the questnWe also loved the quietnquiet
I booked the cheapest room and perhaps an upgrade may have provided me with a more comfortable stay. The room was tiny and poorly designed. It was difficult to dry off after a shower without touching the toilet and the towel rail was hanging right next to the toilet. The toilet roll holder was behind the toilet which made it impossible to use. I found hair on the wall of the shower and debris of some description on the bed. The sofa was unusable the first night as it was completely wet, most likely from steam cleaning. Ten minute walk to the Alfred Hospital. Cheerful staff. Furnishings in the foyer looked second-hand.
