Booking was easy, I checked in quite late and was treated very warmly. The staff were friendly and helpful.nnThe parking is a sham, exorbitant pricing and very confusing to navigate with being told 3 different lots of information. If this was at a fixed rate for guests it would have been a much more relaxed experience.nnGym is good, very functional and just about everything you need to get by.nnThe rooms are old but clean and well presented. A daily clean and bed making goes a long way after a day of sightseeing.nnLocation is good, tram around the corner and beautiful park to walk around.
Great price and location for families. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Just need the check-in staff to explain some details a bit more such as how to find our room, when breakfast is, when restaurant shuts, etc…nBut overall, very good value and we’ll be back.
The hotel is well located near the team into the CBD. It’s fairly quiet, and near the park.nLobby area was smart and check in staff were friendly and helpful.nHotel corridors were quite dated, and carpets felt a bit shabby.nThe room was spacious and clean when I arrived, bed was fairly comfortable. Had everything I needed. However:n1 the blanket on the bed was filthy - it was between the sheets, but when I saw it in the following morning it was covered in stains. Made me quite uncomfortable.n2 my room wasn’t cleaned after I arrived. Not a huge problem for me, but would have been nice for the room to be cleaned and bed made.
Although we had a few issues with our rooms a black insect found crawling on the bed, room phone not functioning, bedside drawers that would not stay closed the staff fromnConcierge through to housekeeping and kitchen were prompt, efficient and very helpful.nThe rooms were very clean although tired looking. Foyers on room levels were empty looking and could have chairs, flowers on the empty tables and maybe art on the wall to brighten it up. The downstairs foyer was modern and elegant. Overall a nice stay!
Really nice stay. Check-in staff were wonderful, helpful and fast. The valet service and self-parking were both great. The room was older but clean and comfortable.nThe only thing that was slightly annoying was no power outlets next to the bed. Not a big issue though.
