Location is good, Albert park lake across the road and access to trams around the corner. Was easy to get to and from the city.nnKids loved the pool.nnThe only thing I wasn’t 100% satisfied with was the room, I felt it didn’t really match the photos I’d seen listed. I voiced my concern when we got there and was told we were going to be upgraded. 5 minutes later was told they didn’t have availability so that was a bit disappointing.nnAlso, the air conditioning was controlled by the hotel so no matter what we did to bring it down there was a thermostat in the room it would stay at what they set it to. Meaning it got a bit stuffy at night.
Stayed for 2 days to celebrate my partners and daughter’s birthday. The staff all went above and beyond to make it special for us all. Even the team members who weren’t aware of our celebration were friendly, courteous and professional. They were the most valuable part of our stay.nIt’s a short tram ride from the city and in a picturesque position. A perfect place to getaway from it all but close enough to enjoy the benefits.nRooms a little tired but clean, enjoyed all facilities including pool, spa, sauna, restaurant and pre dinner drinks at the bar. Would stay again.
A very pleasant stay in a wonderful location.nStaff and services were excellent.nMy only piece of constructive feedback is that there were no power outlets near the beds to plug in phones etc.nPeople often use phone as alarms for wake up.nAppart from that the hotel is beautiful and a delete to stay with.
Very nice place to stay, clean, comfortable beds, great water pressure in the shower, quiet, great location, easy car parking, great buffet breakfastn& lots of catering done for gluten free options which is rare to find in buffet breakfasts. Staff were all great and friendly, specially the day we checked in the lady on the front desk, I think her name was Rito.. she was amazing! So friendly and helpful and went above and beyond answering all my questions. Was even great to just have a normal chat and a laugh during the check-in process, she made you feel welcome.nI'll definitely use this hotel again and recommend to everyone who's in the area needing accommodation.nThanks for a great experience.
ROOMnPaid for a Preimum king suite. However it is clear It's built for disabled guests and is not premium at all! Partner and I can't even fit under the shower and it doesn't move any higher, water heat is continuously fluctuating hot to cold . Seats for the disabled in the shower are missing half the paint.nNo air-conditioning,!!!! thermostat will not work . Room is extremely hot and opening a windows doesn't help.nOnly one glass provided for 2 guests for water!nRoom service did not close our door properly after making the room the first day whilst we were out for the day.nKing bed is 2 beds pushed together.nExtremely disappointed for the price point. I have stayed here in better rooms for less . General maintenance of the room is very minimal, fixtures are loose and walls are dirty .nNot one bar of WiFi available. And 2 pillows for a king bed is not ideal.nFOODnUnfortunately buffet breakfast wasn't as good as it used to be , roomservice breakfast not much better, arrived without butter, and missing coffee. By the time these were bought to the room everything was cold.nLOCATION.nTram stop not far, short uber to city . Quiet area.nSTAFF.nWe're not very helpful , asked for a room change but they would not refund us the difference for a standard suite.nHence why we were stuck in 2 days no air-conditioning very hot room terrible bathroom . 1 more day to go . And I will be glad to be leaving.
