The next time you go to Victoria Markets and your feeling peckish do as i did and grab a bite from Koa Wok. I did and was it delicious. Its located at stand F22 and it has its own designated seating area so you can relax and enjoy the cuisine. Good variety to choose from and the portions well lets just say im a good eater.

Queen Victoria Market is always worth a stroll, even if it was a bit quiet during my visit with some empty stalls. There’s still plenty of interesting finds, from fresh produce to unique goods, and the atmosphere has that classic market charm. A nice spot to explore in Melbourne.

Compared to South Melbourne Market, Queen Victoria Market is much more spacious and easier to navigate. There’s a great variety of unique souvenir shops and diverse food stalls and restaurants, making it a fantastic spot for shopping and exploring.nnThat said, if you’re specifically after fresh seafood like oysters, South Melbourne Market offers a wider selection at slightly lower prices. But for shopping, this is definitely the place to be!nOne big advantage is that Victoria Market is open on weekdays, so my tip would be: visit here during the week, and save South Melbourne Market for weekends or public holidays to avoid the crowds.nnThe highlight? The blue mussels — pictured here — are unique to this market and truly one of a kind. Even on a weekday, expect to wait around 15 minutes in line, but trust me, they are absolutely worth it!
