One of the must visit markets aside from the South Melbourne Market which we visited earlier. This place has a really good vibe and is super easy to navigate. We explored mostly just the food area in the market where you can find a ton of fresh produce, mainly seafood and meats. In the other hall you will find an abundance of eateries, coffee places, bakeries and just really a whole lot of food which you can eat right away on the spot or take outside to one of the nice seating areas just outside the market entrance. This is a must go destination if you are a first time visitor to Melbourne or returning to the city for a visit. Highly recommended.

Celebrating Christmas in July at Victoria Market in Melbourne was a delightful experience! The market was festively decorated, creating a magical winter wonderland atmosphere despite the chilly weather. The array of unique stalls offering seasonal treats and handcrafted gifts added to the festive spirit. It was a wonderful way to enjoy the holiday cheer and shop for unique gifts, all while soaking in the vibrant energy of Melbourne. Highly recommend for a festive outing!

The Victoria Market in Melbourne is as much for tourists as it is for locals. Everything there comes with all colors, favours and origins. Its decorated history as a public market since the 1800s has also meant a wonderful heritage that is both inviting and accessible. Very photogenic place besides its gourmet.

A terrific market. I visited on Saturday lunchtime and it was very busy. Lots on offer. Really great food and a great variety of stalls. If you like markets you won’t be disappointed
