Amazing book store!!! Very wide variety of books. Very kind owner and once you finish reading your book you can bring it back and sell it for half the price which you bought it. Keep it up, Urchin Books!!!

My favourite second-hand bookstore in Sydney by far, with a wonderful collection of fiction and non-fiction - from classics to childrens - in excellent condition, a great atmosphere, and a delightful owner who's always happy to help or just chat, and is committed to the local community. She also sells all kinds of unique book/art based merchandise (e.g. literary themed accessories, cushions, and framed prints) and even self-published collections of stories from local authors. I visit at least once a fortnight, and always find something interesting. Highly recommended!

I left work early so I could get a friend a birthday present. I turned up at 4.30pm and they're already closed. Urchin has some great stuff but the service is so poor it consist of being on the phone the whole time, ignoring customer and then taking your money nothing more.
