2017-Dec-09, Sat 3PM. I used to pass by this place every day some years ago when going to college. It's only natural that I went in quite a few times as well. Recently I needed a book related to teaching as a gift for a friend (see photo). I called them and confirmed the book I saw on their website was in fact available in their store. They confirmed and said they can put it on hold for 24h at the front desk. For those that want to bike ride there, just next to the entrance there's a sturdy metal handle to which I think you're alright to lock your bicycle for a few minutes. I did it and no one said anything.

Large range of books but staff make it not worth the visit. Was standing, waiting inside for a friend to make a purchase today when a staff member angrily told me food was not allowed inside. I was unaware of this due to lack of visible signage, quickly apologised and started to leave, but heard her swear about me to another staff member as I left. Will not be returning as I am not a fan of being sworn at by strangers. It's not that hard to be kind. Visit Resistance Bookshop/Gleebooks/Book Grocer instead.

Large bookstore with great cookbooks (the art section is also cool). I've managed to pick up Luke Nguyen, Mark Best, The Bread & Butter Project, Vietnamese Street Foods, Baking books for myself and as gifts. The prices are really great too. Be sure to check it out every few weeks as theres new stock that comes in.
