Although I appreciated the professionalism of the doctor at the clinic and their thorough explanations, I was disappointed by the disrespectful behavior of the receptionist. Despite a sign instructing patients to wait to be called, the receptionist continued chatting, making me feel ignored. Additionally, the Asian lady at the front desk was quite rude. It would greatly improve the overall experience if they considered changing the receptionist or having any improvement.
I have been a patient at UQ Health for several years, and I am consistently impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the doctors. In my experience, Chinese doctors often have biases and prejudices that lead to misdiagnosis, and they frequently prescribe expensive Chinese medicine that does not work for my body. However, UQ Health doctors prescribe only the necessary medications that fit your specific diagnosis. They also provide valuable advice and referral recommendations.nnThe psychiatrists and psychologists at UQ Health are highly sought after, and you may need to wait a few months for an appointment. However, making an appointment with other GPs is quick and easy. I also appreciate the kindness of the staff at the front desk.nnOverall, UQ Health is a top-notch medical center that I highly recommend for their professional, friendly, and effective medical care.
Had an appointment with Dr. Maria Kowalczuk. She would not even let me finish my sentence during the consultation and kept cutting me off. Highly recommend not booking with her. My friends have also had the same experience.
The receptionists here are the most arrogant and rude people I’ve seen. I’m appalled at the way they treat foreigners. The 2 Asian girls working today were so rude especially to other Asians coming in. An Asian lady came in claiming she had bronchitis, the receptionist rudely asked her about where she had pain and after the lady gestured to where she felt pain, the receptionist rudely remarked “why would you say that [you have bronchitis]??” The 2 other receptionists then proceeded to join in with the questioning before she was forced outside to take a covid test.nnThe doctor I saw was nice but not entirely competent as she missed some important information in my medical records. If you value a good doctors visit genuinely do not visit here.nnI do hope that the practise may see these reviews and reconsider their staff as the reputation of UQ clinic is pretty terrible!! It would be nice to have a friendly clinic within UQ we can rely on!
Was treated so disrespectfully and poorly by my doctor, came in coughing and couldn't breathe properly and got told I was fine and laughed at when I asked for medicine for a sickness I had for over a week, told to rest in my assessment period. Would not recommend, if you want to feel listen and get actual help.
