Story

United Cinemas The Edge is the ultimate entertainment destination in the Blue Mountains, presenting the latest blockbuster movie releases, special movie events and retro classic films. The Edge Cinema is home to a giant movie screen, modern auditoria and private corporate functions.

Attractions at the cinema include an Arcade Zone, Art Gallery and a replica Boeing 737 NG-800 Flight Simulator.

We are conveniently located on the Great Western Highway just a short walk from Katoomba train station and the town centre.

Went to the cinemas new gaming night experience. the staff were lovely and fun and even joined in on some games. The gaming night is a well worth experience
I've seen so many movies at this cinemas and have never had an issue. The big Gmax cinema is the best to watch movies, i've been in the smaller cinema rooms a few times and they're quite crammed. The food & tickets are all really reasonable priced, and there is a large gaming arcade area as well.
Much better than Event in the city region! Very accomodating and attentive staff!nnCinema 2 is very well equipped with modern cinema facilities as well.nnPlus maybe the only place where you can enjoy the largest array arcade games in town, although still far less than Timezone or Koko in city.
What a great experience and such generosity from the team at the Edge Katoomba. The screen and seats were great- as was the popcorn First time visiting but I will certainly return with the family.
The screens are giant and the sound quality is perfect and i never go anywhere else to watch movies because this cinema is so friendly and affordable and clean
