"Over-charge and under-perform" seems to be the theme here. First visit last year I booked in for a service, to get the air con re-gassed and to fix one of the windscreen spray nozzles. I dropped the car off and returned 3 1/2 hours later to pick up. They said it was ready and took my $400 but it turned out they'd completely forgotten to do the air con. They ended up having to do a last-minute rush job and forgo a leak investigation. They didn't even mention the spray nozzle (nor was it fixed). Funnily enough I had to return a few days later because the air con had already stopped cooling again. They re-gassed it without explanation as to why or if it had any leaks. Fast forward 5 months and the air con stops cooling again, so I hesitantly gave them another chance. I finally got a diagnosis this time but was still charged $153 for the re-gas. Maybe if they stopped outsourcing their services and acted liked they cared I wouldn't be as bothered about this experience.
Edit: The same thing happened again! The air con has stopped working a week later! I called and they seemed indifferent and didn't even offer to look at it, just said "it's probably the leak which will cost $560 to repair". Officially bothered, why is this shop still in business?!

I would recommend this location for honesty and integrity.  Honest pricing and no rip off excess add on's like many other mechanics.  Trevor the manager was a nice guy and was good at providing valid suggestions.

Thanks Joe and the team at Ultra Tune Indooroopilly.   Respectful and helpful... worked late sorting out my Mazda air conditioner problems so that I could have the car back first thing the next day for the Kindy run.   Would certainly recommend them.
