Staff were helpful and friendly. The ability to sit upstairs to watch bands helped is securing a positive experience. The venue fails because it was not overly accessible. First there disabled parking was temporarily fenced off making it an obstacle course to park. Then someone who was probably working there was illegally parked in a disabled spot. There was no direct entry to the venue from where tickets were checked. We were met with stairs. So we had to back track to through the waiting crowd because quickiest and direct footpath to the disabled lift was blocked by another car. Before we made it to the disabled entrance it was another obstacle course because there was no clear pathway for a wheelchair. It downgraded the experience for someone in a wheelchair. Thankfully the band was worth it.

Good gigs get arranged at this venue, although hosted at a wide and large space it's not made for that reason. Acoustics and visuals are very compromised by unprepared walls and several columns that will block your view of something at some point... Catering and extras are always unprofessional (options, brands, prices, installations, repurposed school furniture), although I was always served with courtesy. Smaller gigs can work well, but the venue downstairs, at the brewery, used to be better in every level. Parking could be better as there's unused space everywhere during night gigs, but since it's a university campus you won't have id's, acess to spots reserved for other reasons nor used during gig times. Then you see yourself risking to be fined.

Venue is a bit too big for the gigs they have, but still a good place for live music!

Not a great venue for a larger music gig. Pillars around the place get in the road
