The Durham Castle Arms

So this pub is quite busy even during the week. It is a great place to go for an after work beer and if you like, order something from their daily special menu. An example is that on Thursdays you can get a Snitchel and drink for $10! A bargain! $10. What is there not to like? The only downside of the place is that it is very very noisy and if you want to impress a lady: good luck, because the two of you will be engaged in a screaming contest. I could only last for an hour and had to leave for the quiet of the suburban streets.

Great selection of beers on tap which change over time so there's always something interesting to try alongside the favourites. Interesting range of whiskies, mainly Scotch and Japanese. Cosy pub atmosphere and generous servings of pub grub. Can get crowded, so if you're planning an outing here, call for a reservation.

I worked at this place for over a month in summer. Their management is terrible. I was told my shifts would be scattered after my last shift there, then the next day they removed me from the WhatsApp group without explanation, despite trying to approach them. Don't support this pub!
