Came for lunch, we shared a pork taco it was extremely meaty it needed some kind of pickled veggies to cut through it!nnThe pizza was strange, it had chicken and prawn which was nice but then it had this Indian flavor to the sauce with sweet chilli on top! It just didn’t work well! It was quite floppy and soggy in the middle.nnI had a margarita it was nice!
I just love this place, the view, the food and staff members are amazing.nAlways fun there, every day some nice specials.nMy favourite day is Thursday and Sunday
The only reason for 4 for service is that we got their on a Friday afternoon, and they were filling up. From observation, if you are going for lunch or an evening, make reservations. Especially on a Friday. Had a nice pale ale. The salad with pistachio nuts, chickpeas, and dried cranberries was excellent. I don't think my spicy margarita was a 5.
A good all rounder. Popular so like most similar places in Canberra it gives a vibe of “you’re lucky to buy this pint here” but one of the rare sports bars so it’s preferred over nearby establishments. One particular young guy behind the bar had excellent people skills surpassing his co-workers by far. Apologies, I didn’t get a name so can’t give a shout out.
We had a fantastic dining experience at The Dock this evening. Our group of three enjoyed a relaxed evening with delicious food, great service, and the added bonus of a dog-friendly atmosphere – a huge plus for us as dog lovers!nnThe standout dish was the Pumpkin Pizza – perfectly cooked with a delightful mix of flavours that made it truly special. The Wedges were crispy, golden, and served with a delicious dipping sauce, while the Pork Tacos were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.nnThe Dock’s welcoming vibe, friendly staff, and the ability to bring our furry friend along made for a perfect outing. Whether you’re dining with friends or looking for a spot to enjoy a meal with your dog, The Dock is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their amazing menu! Highly recommend!
