Superb meal, plenty of seating. It's been a while since I was last there. The self-serve Grill has gone. They cook your meat for you now. Comes out looking perfect three guys I was with all got theirs the way they like it. I had a delicious chicken parma.
Beautiful old pub and food, was thd hood pub melaleuca. Large plates which were filled. The garden outdoor area Beautiful with ot of plants
The atmosphere is great, even on a busy night when it’s noisy it’s not too noisy that you can’t hear the people next to you. The rooms are decorated nicely and lightning is warm and soft. The staff were friendly, finding us a table when it started bucketing down rain and getting a kids colouring pack for the little one when we sat down. The food was delicious, I ordered the kilpatrick oysters and Asian beef soup - both were great choices. Despite being a busy night, food and drink service was great too.
Fantastic place for food or a drink, great atmosphere, even better staff, excellent varied menu and wine list. The Calamari is great see photo. The Kingston also carried Collector Wines - local and wonderful. We will go back often, highly recommended for a ‘not so quiet’ dinner for 2 or a group who want to have a great night out.
The great thing about this pub is its atmosphere. It’s a very cosy, busy place, with good food and a good range of beers. In the winter time, I would recommend getting here early to get a table… otherwise you might have to find one outside!
