Great pub with a large number variety of rooms to dine and drink.nIt has 2 comprehensive menu options, Maddie's and The Grill.nGood drink and wine options with large glasses of wine the standard, rather than small and large that a lot of places have nowadays.nMy favourite dining areas are the library and the garden.
The steaks were absolutely awesome. Medium rare was cooked to perfectionnGarlic vegies were crisp and delicious and the mashed potato was very creamynnComing here again
Best steak in town, wine list is great which is all good. Then there is the delightful beer garden. On top of all that the service is as good as it gets! Thanks kingo.
Awesome beer garden! Great bar service. Food excellent; green chicken curry & the best whole baby snapper outside of NZ! So good.
Came across this venue whilst staying at accommodation nearby....what a find! Maddie's is lovely with a good selection of food on the menu & several more great options on the specials board. Definitely value for money and bonus points to the wait staff. Also have to say the beer garden section is very well set up a d was certainly extremely busy. Give it a try....idoubt you'll be disappointed
