The basement is a very different scene than what it was. It is an inclusive place, an all genders place, it is a most spectacular place for gigs. If you want to feel safe and meet different people, this is the place for you.

Massively inproved! Pretty decent space and the drinks are okay. Floor is still sticky though, thus demonstrating the more things change the more they stay the same.

The Basement is the best live venue Canberra. Any given day you can see excellent bands play live. A great atmosphere.
