Headed here last night with a group of friends for dinner and a few beers after a long day at the mountains.nnThe vibe and food options looked good , so we decided to stay and eat dinner as well.nI ordered a burger and curly fries. My burger took more than 45 mins to arrive and my curly fries didn’t even come after an hour of waiting. When I asked how long it’ll take them- this really rude lady at the counter said “people have been waiting for more than an hour”. I asked her to cancel my curly fries and the amount was refunded to me.nnMy friends on the other hand had ordered - pasta , pizza, garlic bread and wedges.nThey were hungry and hadn’t eaten all day.nThe pizza was only served to them after an hour and 15 Minutes. After 1.5 hours and asking multiple times .. they were served the pizza. The rest of the dishes still didn’t arrive. After waiting for another 20 mins they still weren’t served dinner.nnI am not sure who the lady was at the counter - ALL SHE DID WAS MAKE FACES and EXCUSES. We asked to cancel our order and asked for a refund. The food was ready to be sent to us by this time and she offered if we’d like to pay half the price. By that time the mood was already ruined.nnVery bad hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend anybody who actually wants to EAT something to go here.
Ordered mussels, pork ribs, pork belly and kids menu got dogs.nThe portions were huge and delicious.nRibs nicely seasoned and tender.nPork belly was crispy and soft at the right places.nCame with vegetables and a nicely drained mashed potatoes.nThe sauce for the mussels is crazy good.nI'm not due how to describe it.nCreamy with a bit of tang.nMussels are fresh.nKids hot dogs battered and came with twister fries.nPortions are big and good for a hunger person.nPeople are friendly.nThere is a game room for the adults but children are allowed in the pub if accompanied by parents.nThere is a corner for sports TV.nThe bare served up lots of pull beers and other drinks and cocktails.nI'm sorry for lack of info here cause I don't drink but the other patrons seemed to be having a good time.nGood food, drinks, company and service.
Worst Experience Ever – Extremely Long Wait and Poor Service**nnMy friends and I visited this place as a group of three and ordered several items — **pizza, wedges, garlic bread and two penne pastas**. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we have had.nnWhen we placed our order, **nobody informed us that the waiting time would be around 45 minutes to 1 hour**. Had we known about such a long wait, we could have made an informed decision before ordering. We were already starving, but we patiently waited.nnAfter approximately **45 minutes**, I went to the reception myself to check on our order. To our surprise, **our order had not even been started**, while almost everyone else had already received their food. Our entire order had effectively been missed.nnWe continued waiting, and after around **1 hour and 15 minutes**, we still had not received anything — not the pizza, wedges, garlic bread or either of the two penne pastas.nnI went inside again and spoke to one of the team members to find out what was happening. After another **10 minutes of waiting**, the pizza was finally delivered. However, we were still waiting for the rest of our order.nnBy this point, we had been waiting for around **1 hour and 30 minutes** and were extremely frustrated. We went inside to request a refund because we simply did not want to wait any longer.nnInstead of understanding our frustration, some of the team members were quite rude and questioned us about whether we had been informed about the waiting time. We explained that **nobody had informed us about the 45-minute to 1-hour wait when we placed the order**.nnIt was during this interaction that we realised there had been a major mistake with our order. The only team member who genuinely acknowledged the situation was **Stromi**, who apologised to us.nnOverall, the lack of communication, our entire order being missed, the extremely long wait and the response from some of the staff made this an absolutely terrible experience.nnIf there is going to be a significant waiting time, customers should be informed **before placing their order**. And when an order has been missed due to an internal mistake, customers should be treated with understanding and given a proper apology rather than being questioned about why they are frustrated.nn**Definitely the worst experience I've had at a place like this, and unfortunately, I would not return to this place .
Came by default but very glad we found this place whilst passing through. Lovely people and gorgeous food. Both left with very full belly's! Would recommend the bangers and mash
Expensive beer. Good place to watch the rugby.nWas told there was a 1 and half hour wait for food so we didn't eat. People arrived after us and were eating about 20mins later.nMaybe next time
