One of the best chinese meals l ever had. Great value for money, big portions and delicious flavours. Definitely dropping in again next time l pass through Turangi. Loved their spring rolls!
Very nice food. Chinese, Burgers, Fish and Chips available in good size portions at good prices. We asked and ate our takeaways at the tables inside.Food: 5/5
Was craving for fish and chips after a long drive. We ordered the $13 value meal and can't believe when we opened it. It was a pretty generous serving for the price. The food tasted really nice and despite our hunger, we have leftovers for snackv. Moderate waiting time as there were few other customers before us. Seems to be popular with locals. Service is good, staff quite friendly and place is clean and tidy.
I ordered Chinese for my homebased chn as part of our mid Autumn moon festival celebration. The food was delicious. Just would have been cool if they had a delivery service
Delicious perfectly cooked tarakihi, fresh and juicy…chips cooked just right. Good size portion.
Large menu with a lot of options. Potential for success. However my “chicken fried rice” didn’t have a grain of rice in it. Just eggs and chicken.

Foods are only good enough for the price. Attitudes of the people in the night were a bit bad. About half of those Chinese dishes on the menu don't come with rice. We wanted to get a rice and it costs $8!! That's right. Its not a typo and a plane rice actually costs $8 for Christ's sake!! There is no highchair available in the shop and they don't allow customers to use their toilet. This is so called the best Chinese takeaways in this little town as there are only 2 Chinese takeaways here and the other one is even worst than this I was told. Its a very sad town.
Got no pictures because I was just too hungry! After coming from the hot springs we were looking for a good hearty place to eat. Yozzzz. Turangi has the goods. With a menu that will spoil your choices, the portions at this place is crazy. Really busy place with phone orders coming through as well, we were happy with waiting a little bit longer. But it was worth it! Big ups to this business. Only 2 people running the kitchen but delivering great quality! Will always think about this place when we stop over next time.
