Stayed here for 2 weeks as a work trip. Some creature comforts in the room are lacking. Such as: a lack of kitchen appliances, and low water pressure, although not horrible. The aircon works well, but is hard to work out what position is ‘on’. Small issues like these are reflective in the price and this is a good budget stay. What really makes the rooms great, is the attention to detail that the house keepers provide. Especially Cecil. Every single day she makes sure the room is in immaculate condition, wipes every surface, makes the bed perfectly, and almost looks like she polishes the porcelain in the bathroom. Cecil does a great job at preserving the rooms shine in an aging building.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The staff, especially Anjuta, was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. She ensured a smooth check-in and check-out process. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, a great experience, and I’d happily stay here again.”
I had a really good time at the Mercure in Rockhampton the weather was raining all day and there was no sun out. the restaurant I had was spaghetti and was very yummy and I would order it again. The rooms were fine I slept on a Single bed very comfortable. I would come again so much fun.
Prices are globally per twin share but somehow I managed to book for 1 adult online including b/fast and as a result had to pay another $20 on cki. to make it for two people. A jug of water would have been nice in the room. The bathroom is looking very tired. The room was comfortable enough and the b/fast was good.
