*couldn’t stay in my room, slept in my truck instead* Very disappointed with my experience. The room felt unclean and the bathroom was extremely outdated. There was no body wash in the shower, and the tap of the shower was malfunctioning taking me about 5minutes to figure out. Water pressure was low on top of that, so all in all, I felt more unclean afterwards.nThe duty manager didn’t care that I was unhappy with my room, and showed no sympathy for my situation. It is 9:30pm on a Friday night and too late to arrange another decent room elsewhere.nI will never be dealing with Mercure again.nThank you for reading.
Comfy bed. Rooms, lift, and hallways tired and outdated. Bathrooms need major refurbishing, with mould, rust and water damage evident. Short on cleaning staff meant a backlog of people trying to check in 07/09/24. Balcony old and outdated with rust and flaky oxidised paint, balcony furniture well below standard. Carpets good. TV good. Fridge adequate. The entire place urgently needs a revamp to stay consistent with the image and quality expected of an Accor group hotel.
Very disappointing rooms, paid for a view that wasn't worth the extra money I paid.nnThe restaurant is brilliant, but it's not worth staying in the hotel rooms for.nnDisliked the room, says Queen sized beds, they are just two single mattress zipped up together to make a Queen sized bed.nThe lighting when entering the room during the evening is horrible and the only light switch that you can use turns on the outside balcony which is useless when blind inside a dark room. I had to use my phone torch to see until I found a bedside lamp I could turn on.nnI suggest finding an alternative hotel as these rooms are very expensive and are not worth the price paid for the rooms.nnTotally honest, somewhere $100 a night cheaper would have been a better place to stay the night and would have provided a better sleep and a far more comfortable experience
Staff at check in were rude and unhelpful. Rooms are modern enough but crammed in if your lucky enough to be located next to the laundry don’t expect a peaceful stay. Showers are tiny and the parking situation is ridiculous don’t leave and go for dinner because you won’t get a park when you get back. The gym is in need of upgrading.
Wow. Everything was going great until the most abusive Phillipino “front of house manager” as she liked to refer to herself as multiple times was abusive and disruptive when I said “good morning”nBlaming other guests, blaming other shift managers and not even looking things up on the computer before YELLING at me multiple times. I couldn’t do anything but laugh. Quite literally the craziest and most abusive experience I have ever run into.nI asked the night team if I could extend who said to confirm in the morning. I confirmed in the morning only to be yelled at by the most disgusting and horrible experience.nI cannot tell you how quickly I ran out of the place - only to be followed and yelled at about “my staff didn’t communicate”nNot my problem.nWow wow wow - the worst customer and guest experience I have ever witnessed.nObviously you’ve had a big week with beef week; but it is not necessary to take it out on guests.nCould not run away quick enough from this crazy woman!
