We had a wonderful experience today with Lou. We originally planned to purchase just a bow, but thanks to his patience, professionalism, and thoughtful advice, we were fortunate enough to also find a violin that truly suited us.nnLou took the time to guide us through the selection process without any pressure, carefully listening to our needs and offering knowledgeable recommendations. His expertise and honest opinions made us feel confident and comfortable with our decision.nnWe are extremely happy with our purchase and very grateful for his support. We will definitely return in the future and will continue to seek his advice. Highly recommended!

We’d like to say a big thank you to Lou Ortiz. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful.nnWe didn’t have an appointment to rent a violin, so there wasn’t a suitable one available for us to take home right away and we might have to come back the next day to collect one. When Lou found out that we lived quite far away and that returning the next day would be very inconvenient for us, he did everything he could to help. After a short wait, he was able to arrange the right violin for us to take home that day.nnHis kindness and willingness to go the extra mile saved us a great deal of time and effort. We really appreciate his outstanding customer service!

With very little knowledge about violins, we are truly grateful to Mr Lou at Sydney String – Chatswood for his incredible patience, expertise, and guidance in helping us choose the right violin for our son. He took the time to answer all our questions and patiently guided us through the different options.nnWe highly recommend Mr Lou to anyone looking for professional advice and guidance when choosing a string instrument. Thank you, Mr Lou, for your kindness and support!nnElson : Thank you so much, Mr Lou, for your patience, guidance, and advice while I was trying out the different violins. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me find the right one and encouraging me along the way.

I’ve been a loyal customer of the Sydney String Centre for many years, buying violins and cellos for both my daughter and son. Lou has supported us throughout, helping us select and upgrade instruments—from 1/4 size, to 1/2, to 3/4, and now to full size. Over the years, we’ve always benefited from his expert advice. My recent experience with Lou was fantastic—he understood exactly what we needed. When the instrument we wanted arrived in Australia, Lou notified us immediately, ensuring my son was the first to try it out. We were truly lucky to secure such a great instrument. Lou is reliable, genuine, easy to communicate with, and an incredibly professional musician. I highly recommend Lou to any parent needing guidance on purchasing a string instrument—you’ll get top-tier advice.

I was looking for an excellent violin for my Certificate of Performance and AMusA studies. Lou Ortiz at The Sydney String Centre was a great help and made my intensive search for the right instrument easy and very comfortable. I chose a violin made in Germany that I'm very happy with. I highly recommend Lou Ortiz at The Sydney String Centre for his kind assistance and for his professionalism.
