Large and fully fenced dog park with a separate area for small dogs. Has 1 permanent shaded seating area and plenty of random outdoor camp chairs etc placed around. Most the other dogs are friendly and playful, don't bring your dog here if they're reactive or don't like being approached by other big dogs though. Dog-friendliness: Dedicated dog park.
Met some people and very friendly and puppy got warm out and they one side little dogs and one side big dogs
Looks like it is a flood plain with 5ft fence, some young trees, two safe entry areas in desperate need of spring loaded gate hinges, single tap & cement wash-trough, separate small/large dog areas, both with small picnic table style shelters. Large area includes some agility gear but could do with more. Poo bags provided next to bins outside the park. Needs better drainage, lighting, fencing & shade.
Such a good space for dogs to play. Big and small areas available.
Large off leash area with water play as well. My puppy very much enjoyed himself here.
Never ever take your dog to the Scar. Always dog fights in the big dog area especially when it is busy. Not bad dogs but bad owners. They have rules for going into the dog park which nobody enforces. Neither the council or the police. Unless the attacking dog is a repeat offender the council do nothing.
Would be great if there was some toilets and drinking water available
Great park to take your dogs. Two areas. One for small dogs and another for big dogs. Our dogs love going to catch up with their friends and the owners catch up with each other. Dog owners really friendly as we all have the same interest, our dogs. Covered in picnic table with plenty of chairs and poo bags available. Great park for your dogs to socialis.
Just needs a big clean up and fix up the just and put a water bubbler. And patch up some pot holes. Great fun tho
Great public space with both large and small dog enclosures bmx area adjacent as well. Many enjoyable walks up to Mount Jerra summit from here - 15-30 min depending on fitness med-steep gradient
