Honestly just a lovely, green well kept park area with plentiful seating, a playground for the children to distract themselves, barbecues if required (although I highly recommend just going to the Kingston Hotel takeaway and drive-through for an amazing burger, or terrific pasta; knowing they provide cutlery) and then seating yourself somewhere for a quiet lunch or whatever you want. It’s a large park ground so you can be assured you’ll find somewhere along the way, and is lovely just for walking through on your way to the Foreshore if that is also your plan. I would recommend a visit just to read a book or find some peace in a busy, busy neighbourhood!

A great, peaceful shady place. Perfect for picnics, studying, relaxing or playing.

Great Little Park, there a a few BBQs scattered around. The playground is well shaded as with most of the park.

Excellent public park with new, modern, very hot barbecues; taps; parking; bins; childrens' playground; tables and benches; shelters; established, shady trees; and public toilets. A leafy and green oasis, perfect for getting out of the home of office to find some peace and solace!

Nice park - it offers a nice peaceful way to walk/ride from the lake to Manuka.
