Not your average type of park . It offers a lot of variety to do such as picnic, stroll around the lake , immerse yourself in the Chinese garden area, or play with your kids or pets. Very clean and well maintained and there are lots of spaces for cars.

Good place for picnic with Canberra's landmark view and some sail boats around.
Great views, some interesting sculptures and plantings but few botanical labels or natives. Amusing from a foreign relations perspective they put China and Japan together. Monkeybar height inaccessible for smaller kids. Picnic in progress, seems a good spot. Toilets poorly maintained, signposted and in an inconvenient location.

It is a beautiful location to have a picnic and a kick of the football. The short walk to Beijing Gardens and Nara Peace Park makes it even more stunning. A highlight for autumn or spring seasons. Lack of disabled parking is a challenge. There was a lots of off road pushing in a wheelchair. If you don't have anyone to push you it might be difficult to get to all places.
One of the best gardens in Canbeera, which is on the southern shore or Lake Burly Griffin. Whether you are visiting the park in spring, summer, autumn or winter, there are plenty of things to do around the park - or simply walk along the lake and take in some of the best views and amazing sunsets.
Beautiful lakeside garden with lush green surroundings. There is a walking path / cycling path along the lake. Nice picnic spots available under the shade of large trees. Restrooms: Restrooms available
Lovely garden for a picnic and walk down on the lake. Has beautiful cherry blossoms - in bloom around August and Chinese featured gardens.
Peaceful well maintained park by the water just behind the Hyatt hotel. The Nara Candles Festival is a great occasion to come and enjoy the place. Free parking available around.
