The best dog park we have ever visited. Very well maintained with 2 large separated and fenced areas. Many areas for sniff adventures. Water and bags available.
The best dog park I've been to in Canberra. Dogs and owners were all friendly and well behaved. Clean and fairly poop free it, a great afternoon for doggos and humans alike Dog-friendliness: Super dog friendly, dog water point and poop bags available free on site
Great dog park with separate areas for larger and smaller dogs. On a sunny afternoon, it is very close to doggy heaven.
Big dogs separated from smaller dogs. Just across the road, a place where dogs can swim. Large pet friendly area complete with coffee van!
It's great to have the beach area for off-lead dog swimming. However as a visitor from the Gold Coast I've noticed a huge lack of rubbish bins for dog poo disposal. Dog-friendliness: Most dog owners are very friendly....of course there's always that one! Picnic area: We didn't use the picnic area but with lots of big shady trees and tables dotted around it would be enjoyable.
Always busy which is great for our dogs. Nice landscaping and you can get away from everyone by just taking a walk up to the back of the enclosure. Very rarely encounter any aggressive dogs there. As it is so busy, the pop bag dispenser is often empty so that is my only criticism.
Great dog park. Most owners keep awareness of their dogs behaviour. Council does need to put more bins throughout the park which will promote more owners picking up after their dogs.
Recent upgrades to the park make it a more enjoyable experience for both sapien and canine. Could do with more shade for summer. Unfortunately people will bring their non-sociable dogs here from time to time, including one particularly annoying German Shepherd named Nikita. Keep an eye out!
