This is a really lovely reserve. There are a couple of different tracks to the summit, each with a different flavour of flora and fauna, plus quite different views (all of them pretty spectacular). There are also some nice tracks that just go round the base without going up to the top. There's a pretty nice friendly little community of regular walkers at different times of day as well. Some areas are fairly steep and slippery at times too, so wearing practical clothes and shoes is a must.

Mt Taylor Reserve is a good place to walk, bicycle or share a picnic. It is a favourite parkland for local residents. International visitors may be interested that the southern end of the Reserve is home to a large mob of up to 100 grey kangaroos for much of the year; look for them in the horse paddocks. Remember however they are wild animals and easily startled; the males are up to 2m tall and very protective of their families.

Great place to exercise and see amazing views of Tuggeranong Valley and the Brindabella Mountain Range. It has become incredibly popular recently with 30+ cars there most weekends. You still see lots of Kangaroos and other wildlife. Watch out for snakes and other people's dogs off leash. Also, be careful of the (frequent) drivers crossing double unbroken lines on 80km road to reach the parking area - very dangerous.

Good views of Woden and the surrounding suburbs. If you come in the early morning you'll likely see kangaroos and native birds too! There is no water on the way so make sure to bring your own supply.

Great place to go for a walk either up and down or around. Also a couple of nice flowy trails to ride on mountain bike, just be ready to give way to pedestrians.
