The Reveley

Rushed service. We werent provided with tea cups or tea menus on our dedicated arrival time. After requesting both, we still had to wait 10-30 min for our tea cups and/or tea to arrive and one ladies tea was forgotten completely. Despite telling the lady on the phone that 3 of us were pregnant, we were still given raw fish on one of our savoury options. I wont be attending another high tea at The Reveley. For the price, the service and/or food should improve.

Thoroughly enjoyed our work lunch here yesterday. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the food was quick and delicious. They were absolutely fantastic about catering to my strict dietary requirements and not making me feel silly for them. Once we'd eaten they had held a table for us at the rooftop bar which was perfect also. What a great view and some great cocktails. Highly recommend!

Absolutely dreadful. Ordered 3x main meals, and one of them was brought out as completely the wrong dish. Instead of taking all three back, one of our group had to sit waiting whilst the others dined on chewy pork and puzzled over why the steak had been served as a sandwich (no mention of this on the menu). After chasing up the third dish, the burger was delivered to the table, with the bun coated heavily in mustard (not in the menu) and on cutting into it was found to be completely raw and utterly inedible. You’d expect decent quality in such a prime location but perhaps the staff bank on walk-by traffic so don’t put the effort in to quality or service. One thing is for sure, it had been a while since we last visited the Reveley, but it will be even longer before we consider returning.

Visiting my family from interstate. Table of 12. Service was good but very slow from the kitchen. They ran out of the white wine we were drinking, the lamb was full of fat (way beyond reasonable), the coffee machine broke, they ran out of ice cream for a affagato. It was too hot, too cold while sitting at the same table. And the bass from the rooftop bar above pumped through the restaurant like we were at a rave. This place charges 40 bucks a main, 30 a entree and 20 dessert and is well below par. We were very excited to come here but hugely disappointed.

Very disappointing for our guests visiting from overseas as we were wanting to show off Perth. Very average, very little choice and very expensive food. We ordered a serve of the fries... came out soggy and asked if we could have freshly cooked fries. The reply from the floor manager was “ They are meant to be soggy!!” Really!!!.. .. an apology would have been more appropriate rather than defensive approach. Attitude of floor manager needs to be improved... she’s costing this restaurant business.
