Petition has a great atmosphere that is very relaxing. I found the food very comforting. The baked eggs with sausage and ham hock are a hit. They must use a sous vide to cook the eggs because the buttery yolk reminds me of a perfect 164 (degrees Fahrenheit; 74 C?) egg. I recommend an extra side of toast with this dish as you will not want the broth to go to waste, and the seed-crusted bread is a surprising stand out. Super enjoyable restaurant. Would recommend :)

Two out of the three dishes we ordered were nice, the third one didn't come with what they had described on the menu and was extremely over priced for what it was. When we pointed this out to the staff they didn't seem to care and we were just dismissed. Service was very average, we had to ask to order a drink and then again to order food. We were in for lunch and it took over 45min to get food which we had to ask for again when all we ordered was cold meat and salad! By the time our food came we had to quickly eat and run. If it had just been one bad dish or a too long of a wait for food I would of returned to Petition to try it again but the rudeness and dismissal by staff is totally uncalled for and is what makes me write this review and why I won't be returning to Petition again.

Sublime spread of food and service was exemplary. Highlights were the kingfish, broccoli salad, heirloom tomatoes and flank steak was a real treat. Fantastic experience and will return soon.

Great place shared style food which may not be for everyone. Acoustics not very good is restaurant which makes it rather loud. Service was fine and location is great. Better for a group rather than a couple. Will definitely go back.

the Petition Kitchen has a pretty good Sunday brunch menu. their Mango Kiwi Blueberry sald with Coconut Chia is totally awesome and highly recommended. service was good and staff were really very friendly. great (inside) atmosphere too.
