My favourite restaurant in Perth. Friendly, authentic, reasonably priced. The staff all greet and farewell every customer. Definitely book ahead if you can, but if dining alone they'll usually be able to squeeze you in at the bar. The set menu 'Jun courses' at the back of the menu are excellent. BYO only, but there's an IGA 20 metres walk away.

Don't waste your money and time. Terrible service disgusting food. It's not even real Japanese food. Never go again.

I swear it’s the NO.1 authentic Japanese restaurant in Perth. They have a great variety of dishes! Food is pretty fresh and tasty, service is alway excellent! I have tried over 10 Japanese restaurants as so far, speciosity, nothing can compare with it. Although someone feels their environment is not fancy(in underground), for me, taste talks.

The taste of the food was average, except for the four tiny scallops with two sticks of asparagus, which were tasty. After waiting for half an hour though, we were utterly shocked when our dishes arrived. The quantity of each main meal was not enough even to feed a small child. The chicken and spring onion skewers lacked flavour and was undecided. The soft shell crab - what can I say, there were only two tiny little pieces. Needless to say, we left with empty stomachs and heavy hearts. Not returning to this place.
