Story

Established by the Yu family in 1999, Arirang is a multi-faceted Korean food and restaurant business which has been proudly serving the WA community for over 15 years.

From humble beginnings Arirang started as a restaurant in the heart of Perth on Barrack St, laying claim to the first Korean restaurant in Perth. The restaurant is still going strong and is now part of the foundation of the Perth CBD. Since then Arirang has grown into a food court franchise, cafe and catering provider and a retail supplier of quality Korean food products. With a head office and kitchen in Bayswater, Arirang is positioned to grow further and seek new and exciting opportunities to provide quality Korean food to Australians.

I would like to commend the lovely staff member that helped clean up my sons mishap. He was not feeling well in the morning and thought he was feeling better when we took him out. The food was delicious as well and would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone interested in a good time with friends and family.

The food was good and the options were great, but I wasn't given very much information from the staff. The food was very expensive, which was misleading after going to the smaller version at my local food court, since their food was quite cheap. Upon ordering my food the waiter asked me if I would like to cook it myself. This being my first time, I was excited, but also very confused. It was a little unexpected that I we had to ask him to clarify instead of him just explaining it to us in the first place. When we got our food we were surprised to see that we hadn't ordered meals, we ordered a plate of BBQ beef each, which were almost identical. Although it was a little confusing the first time, me and my boyfriend said we would definitely come back. It looks like they have great options, and I'd really like to try cooking it myself. They have hot plates on the tables for that. They also have a second floor with seating, a bar, great lighting and great atmosphere. Perfect for dates! They also have a bathroom, which is hard to find in the city.

The food is good, slightly dear but good especially with the soju. Sipping slowly while cooking your own meal. The bbq set for dinner for two are reasonable prices.
