We’ve been very regular customers at the Osborne and have generally enjoyed the food and atmosphere over the years. At 6:30pm this evening, seated at table 31, we ordered a steak and asked if the usual sides could be adjusted—no chips, with an extra serving of salad instead.nnOnly a few weeks ago this same request was gladly accommodated, but tonight we were advised it was not possible and that no substitutions could be made. This inconsistency was disappointing, especially since similar pubs and restaurants readily allow such adjustments.nnThat said, both mine and my wife’s steaks were beautifully cooked, the sauces were very tasty, and we also really appreciated the garlic rolls. It’s a small detail, but one that makes a difference for diners who prefer lighter or healthier choices. We hope the Osbourne will consider providing this flexibility consistently, as it would make an otherwise enjoyable dining experience even better.nnThank you to the team for the great food. Great lunch experience. I went with a group on Wednesday for lunch. Everyone liked the food and they have a $18 lunch special which was a bonus
Where do I even begin? Osborne Rooftop Bar was hands-down the worst hospitality experience I have ever had in my entire life — and I’ve been to roadside truck stops in the middle of nowhere that offered more class, service, and basic human decency.nWe came in hoping for a relaxing evening with a decent view — what we got was a front-row seat to the most unhinged display of chaos I’ve ever seen in a so-called “establishment.” The manager and I use that term very loosely was not only outrageously rude, unprofessional, and completely unfit for their job — but was quite literally acting like they were cooked out of their mind. Eyes darting, erratic behavior, incoherent rambling — it was like watching an audition for a Breaking Bad spin-off.nInstead of addressing the situation like a responsible adult, this gremlin of a human doubled down, deflected all accountability, and treated us like we were the problem for expecting basic service and respect. I don’t know what kind of operation they’re running here, but it felt more like an amateur improv show in a drug-fueled fever dream than a functioning venue.nThe staff? Confused. The service? Non-existent. The vibe? Aggressively terrible. The only thing that got elevated at this “rooftop” was our blood pressure.nAvoid this place like the plague unless you're looking to pay premium prices to be insulted by someone who thinks being the manager of a rooftop bar means they’re the main character in a Netflix drama about narcissism and delusion.n0/10. Would rather eat glass on a fire escape than ever set foot in this disaster zone again.
Hands down the worst bar experience I’ve ever had. We ordered food and half of it never arrived. Instead of fixing their mistake or offering another dish, they just tossed the money back at us like we were a problem. The manager was beyond rude, clearly not in a state to run anything, and the female attendant wasn’t any better. Both of them looked high and completely out of it. Zero professionalism, zero accountability, just pure disrespect. If you value your time, money, or sanity — avoid Osborne Rooftop Bar at all costs.
I recently went out for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. It was honestly one of the best meals I've had in town. The flavors were rich and unique unlike anything I’ve tried here before. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and full of taste. I highly recommend this place.
