More towards the pricey end, nice and clean interior/design. Beef pastrami Benedict was an interesting dish, worth a try, a bit rich in flavour. Chilli prawns dish might be spicy for non spicy eaters. Beautifully cooked dishes.
We had a good brunch here!nThe quality of the food is good. The cafe was recently renovated and I loved the modern style they chose to adopt. The location is also perfect, just next to the royal botanic garden.nThe staff was friendly.nThe toilet wasn’t that clean and it’s hidden behind the kitchen.
Absolutely loved my visit to The Kettle Black! The coffee was rich, smooth, and beautifully presented latte art on point. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, perfect for a productive work session or a relaxed brunch. Friendly staff, great service, and quality food all around. Easily one of the best cafés in Melbourne. Highly recommend!
I had an incredible brunch at The Kettle Black! The burrata was absolutely delicious, so fresh, creamy, and perfectly paired with the other ingredients. The chilli scrambled eggs were just as impressive, fluffy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And to top it all off, the coffee was excellent.nI’ll definitely be coming back!
Small menu, and a little pricey but worth it - granola and pastrami benedict were fantastic, with quality ingredients. Great if you want something a little different and a really good coffee.
