We had a really great experience here. The staff team were all so lovely and accommodating. Very educated on the dishes and origin coffees too. The single origin coffees were made perfectly. Showing off the flavours and no bitterness. Props to the baristas! To finish, the food was unreal. Bourdain sandwich was a hit. Delicious ingredients for a reasonable price and a great serve size. We are going back tomorrow instead of going somewhere else new to explore on our short trip. Would absolutely recommend a visit to this place, whether it’s takeaway coffee, dine in food or just to hang out. Loved it from top to bottom.
Had lovely coffee and cakes and breakfast here on Saturday morning. Everything tasted great, but we ordered several milkshakes and for $12 getting them served in a 200ml cup was really underwhelming. Understand not a huge milkshake container because those things are too big, but for $12 definitely expected maybe a glass jar with a handle type size. The steel straws though were awesome, so much better than paper. Felt like the drinks were being chilled even as we slurped the milkshake.
First of all, St. Ali serves you the best coffee in Melbourne.nAs a coffee lover I must say this place is a main reason why we travel to Melbourne for our Christmas. Here is absolutely the No.1 place for coffee fans! We are so satisfied with Tony’s team with their magical drinks and food. Their batch brew shocked us on Christmas Day and we back again before we leave. Tony is an amazing guy with great personality and he always treats customers as family members. We cannot say how lucky we are that meeting you here and we must move to Melbourne for our next stop when you are here. Thank you Queen Tony! Cannot wait to see you again!nnCharlie and Emily
More photo added Jan 2025nnThe coffee and breakfast were fantastic. While service was a bit slow in taking our order, the food arrived promptly. The venue has two distinct entrances: one for takeaway and another for dine-in. The takeaway area features a wide range of coffee-related merchandise.
Underwhelming food, we had the Bloody Mary avocado toast. It was very basic and I didn’t want to pour the tomato sauce on the toast to make it soggy. Overpriced for what it was, not sure what I ate. The barista breakfast was much better although the black coffee tasted like water and didn’t have much taste to it. The space is big, plenty of seats inside and outside.
