Beautiful old building rightly named... hosts are so welcoming...... furnishings are amazing... comfy sleep..great breakfast..good location easy walk to centre and close to Tassie ferry terminal.

We came over on the Spirit of Tas and The Grand is a a great location to see the ship arrive and depart from the balcony,  enjoying a glass of wine. Paul and Brendan are the perfect hosts.  We just loved everything about The Grand.  Brendan is famous for his shortbread cookies.  My husband was very spoilt.  We didn't want to leave.  Accommodation very clean and the best location for a stop over.  
THE BEST B & B in Tasmania.

The grand is a 5 star plus many more.

An unexpected treasure.

The rooms are just incredible, the service is personal and real, we even tried to cancel our ongoing accomm boomings to stay longer, alas, could not, but we will visit again (so my wife tells me).
