Check in was easy and hassle free. The staff I spoke to were friendly. The room were nice - especially for the price. Not a huge amount of parking but it wasn't an issue when we stayed. Definitely would recommend

A group of friends had an amazing lunch today. Meals were yummy. Dessert was huge the Caramel icecream and 1 serve could feed 3-4 people. The young man who took our orders and served our meals was very efficient and certainly must love his job. Lovely fellow.

Friends joined me at the Eli for a memorable gathering. One of them is embarking on the Spirit of Tasmania, and you can see the ferry while sipping on your drink in the bar. We started off at the bar, soaking in the lively atmosphere before heading to the bistro for a scrumptious lunch. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. The bar and bistro offer stunning views of the Mersey River and Bass, adding to the overall charm of the place. As for the food, it was simply divine. Everyone was delighted with their choice, and we couldn't get enough of the mouth-watering dishes. Personally, I couldn't resist the Lemon Pepper Prawn Tacos, bursting with flavor and perfectly complemented by the garlic aioli. Trust me, it's a must-try. And for my other option, I also indulged in some fries with pepper creamy sauce, which were spot on. Others in our group raved about the Crumbed Scallops, tender and delicious, as well as the Chicken Schnitzel with gravy and Parmi, which they described as simply heavenly. A pleasant dining experience at the Eli.

The Bistro was less than half full, yet we waited 30 minutes for cold food. $50 for an over cooked, tough and flavourless steak. The portions were considerably smaller than other local pubs we've been to yet the prices were no better. No table service when other local pubs do table service. Definitely expected better for what we paid.

I ordered summer salad which tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a week… the pepper gravy was full of lumps that were not peppercorns and the Caesar schnitzel was incredibly dry with a cold egg dropped on top… very disappointing..
