Arrived late to be welcomed by friendly staff. Quaint little pub with perfect view of the Mersey. Seafood basket was excellent and mushroom gravy was superb. Will definitely be back. (Bathrooms need an update.)

Wouldn't even give it a star very poor worst place I have stayed at had hardly no sleep because of loud bunch of people complain and there still loud anyway. No air-conditioning of any sort so was pretty much hot and stuffy all night couldn't even make my young fella a bottle because this is no micawaves. Complain this morning to the owner she was really rude and couldn't care every excuse under the sun couldn't believe the attitude and slams the window shut sorry but if your going to run a hotel and pub have a better attitude and maybe think of others that are going to be staying would not recommend to anyone.....

Had a very poor meal not as advertised just don't take the trouble to present a simple edible light meal.

Staff were great. Room was stifling hot with no real ventilation. Good for a single night.
