Horrible experience with the Good Guys Robina.nnOrdered two air conditioners in April. Asked for a complete quote for install and supply and then paid in store the same day. Arranged delivery and install dates in store.nnI received no communication about delivery. The day it was meant to be delivered I chased it up with the store and was told it would be delivered by 5pm. They arrived at 8.30pm and the delivery drivers told me they’d been in a car accident which caused the delay. Fair enough, can’t be helped, I accepted this.nnBut then the installer calls to confirm installation and the good guys only charged me for one install and put the incorrect date, meaning I’d taken a day off work for nothing. I called up, spent half the day trying to get through to a manager and at first was told I would need to pay and then they later conceded it was their error and they would fix it.nnBut install day arrives and both air conditioners are damaged.nnI take them back to the store for a refund.nnI then get calls from 3 different people saying they want to make good and will offer me a decent price and confer with managers and get back to me. None of them have the full story so I have to repeat myself each time. Appears to be zero communication with each other.nnThen I spoke with Robert. The icing on the cake. Robert was disgustingly dismissive, cut me off when I was speaking and made numerous excuses about how none of these issues are their fault and he can’t control it. He kept insisting that discounting the air conditioners by a few dollars but recharging me for installation, meaning I’d pay more than I did originally, was an amazing price, At least everyone else I spoke to prior during my the whole ordeal was quite understanding. I probably would have shopped at the good guys again had it not been for how disgustingly Robert spoke to me today. Never again.nnI am 34 weeks pregnant and this man berates me over the phone for errors his store and team have made. Pathetic.
I recently ordered a dryer from The Good Guys Robina, and the overall experience was deeply disappointing. After waiting two months for delivery, I was given a two-hour delivery window, but the dryer didn’t arrive on time, forcing me to call and follow up.nnWhat made matters worse was that I had paid $85 for premium delivery, which is supposed to include unpacking and proper placement of the dryer. However, the two delivery guys only provided a simple drop-off and did not fulfill the promised service.nnThis experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I hope The Good Guys will take steps to improve both their delivery scheduling and service quality.
Staff very rude and no respect do not care at all to the customer’s needs or issues with the products they sell! Hopeless and arrogant staff just blame shifts ever to other employees or staff. Employees almost screaming at customers just to avoid to do anything!!! Looks like they hates their job in there or just plain lazy.nnIve purchased 2 item both are faulty!!!!nMaybe The company items are mostly broken items!!!!nAlmost 2k$ Money was waisted and no one can help!!! Manufacturers solutions takes 3 weeks to wait for a technician to decide whether they will need to fix or replace the item!? Feels like a scam!!!nnI just want to get my laundry done!!!nBuying items in the store was an huge mistake!!nAll their items provided to me are all faulty!!! Purchased Brand new items are all faulty!!!!!nVery disappointing!!!!nProducts and customer service is hopeless!!!!
Beware! I purchased a dryer and paid delivery - standard - the ONLY option for delivery that was offered when purchasing this product. Premium delivery was NOT an option. It's literally a dump and run. I now have to pay an additional person to come and change the wall brackets and install the dryer.nnMay I suggest to The Good Guys - MAJORITY of customers who book delivery of their item will want it installed and the old machine taken away. Make PREMIUM the default and have the downgrade as a choice.nnSo whilst I may have saved $30 on their competitors price for the machine - it will now probably cost me another $200 for another trade to install the dryer.nnOverall disappointed with this purchase.
The process of purchasing our items was fantastic however the delivery has been a massive let down which is why I give 3 stars. The salesperson Max was a delight and very insightful and funny which was fantastic. We paid for delivery for two items which was expected the next day.nnI was mucked around all day with delivery schedules from the store saying they are 12 minutes away then 8 minutes away and they are right by your address for it to be delivered 5 hours later but when they arrived they called the wrong number and “failed the delivery” so I didn’t get my items. We organised delivery for two days later. Same thing happens. They arrived 3 hours late but this time the fridge had a massive dent. At this point I just wanted a refund as I could not keep taking days off work/ moving shifts. The managers at the robina store were very helpful and gave us a partial refund. We then rescheduled the delivery and once again they are late. I Called the store to be told they are just stuck in traffic they played it down. It being the third time I questioned whether they just have a high volume of orders to which they said yes. I know the good guys go through a third party delivery service however it’s either time to change delivery partners or just be realistic with the delivery timelines. And of course on the third time the delivery drivers call the wrong number again even though we have confirmed our number numerous times.nI have had things delivered from the good guys in tweed and never had an issue but this time was just very frustrating and not worth the hassle. I recommend purchasing and organising your own delivery from this store.nnI don’t want to put the business down but after it happening over 4 times it’s becoming a joke. Instore service was 10/10 but delivery service was a massive let down unfortunately.
