Excellent hotel. Staff are amazing - friendly, helpful, cheerful - nothing was too much trouble. My sister and I only stayed for 1 night, and were happy with our stay. We arrived about 9.30am and went and had breakfast after we checked in..breakfast was pretty much over but staff were more than happy for us to sit down and eat. We had checked in but the room wasn't ready because check in is usually 2pm; however, they got our room done straight away and by the time we finished breakfast, we could go to our room! The room was lovely and clean, beds were comfy and it was warm even with the window open.nWe spent some time with other family members, in the bar and the staff there were really good, too. We brought some food at the bar and those who ate it, were happy with it.nThank you Devon Hotel - we are planning to come back!

This place was awesome. Felt like a 5 star hotel - but we paid $140 a night in Feb. We booked a standard basic room but ended up with what appeared to be a family suite. Everything was well laid out, high quality furnishings. The staff were faultless and everything was run well. The only somewhat gripe was that the pool was regularly used by visitors who were just eating at the buffet, so it was often crowded at dinner time and could not be used by paying guests. The buffet was incredible too.

Outstanding hotel for value for money, cleanliness, service and amenities. Staff were friendly and professional. Hotel has a wonderful fireside bar, spa and pool. Incredible mattress and pillows, I had the best sleep over 3 nights. The price was 102$ in July 2024. Such incredible value. It felt like a much more expensive property. Thoroughly recommended. 12 out of 10.

I'm so sorry for the boring photo. It seems as though I didn't take photos of anything else except my wedges  With that said, I have to be honest. This is by far one of the most enjoyable places I have EVER stayed at. I have stayed in many, many hotels throughout the country. Even some offering additional services like valet parking etc. But this place wins it for me. Service is impeccable and the people are so lovely. This place helped me fall in love with New Plymouth. And the food is just as great. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. I can't wait to return.

Beautiful stay, room was lovely modern and clean. Staff very nice especially the bar staff very friendly and welcoming. Parking excellent,  food was fantastic   went for a masters builders awards and from start to finish it was great, staff were really great set up of the room was amazing. Everything ran smoothly from our table. Very enjoyable
