A lovely little hotel! We went there for a family dinner on a Friday night and had the resteraunt to ourselves. The service was fantastic and the meals were nice but a bit pricey for their sizes. The meal range was slightly better than standard pub meals. Still, it was an enjoyable experience!

Great meal lovely staff quick service and freshly cooked. 4 at our table everyone had a different meal and we all enjoyed.

Bar: Friendly service at the bar. Plenty of choices. Prices are average for the area. Was pretty quiet by about 9pm. Restaurant area: food is okay. I was a bit disappointed with my steak. The chicken Parma my friend bought was much better. Verdict: Okay but wouldn't return.

I like this place and have been popping in for a beer for the past 45 years. Nowadays you can get a great feed here too.

I really liked the courthouse hotel. They have separate lounge, bar and restaurant areas which all have a distinct feel which works well. There is an upstairs function room which worked well for small scale acoustic music and would be good for small seminars or workshops too. Food and drink selections are great and the staff are helpful and friendly.
