Half a Chook TuesdaynWe went along to the special night and were presented with a beautifully cooked chook that was tender and had flavour. Considering the number of people that also rolled up this was a credit to the staff. The service friendly and atmosphere a bit rowdy but thoroughly enjoyable! How else would you like your pub?! It was busy so I suggest you book. Thank you for a lovely experience.
Builders Arms is the classic pub food, but elevated. i know people that love this place! when you eat here, the first time it’s and then the next time it’s either again or . of course, it’s a pub and not a restaurant. i would highly recommend the whipped cod roe dip if you come here for lunch or even a snack. it’s truly amazing! i’d come here again, the 3 star is only because i’m comparing to my four and five stars. nice food, nice people, nice pub. would come again.
Excellent food and a great beverage list. Staff on for lunch late Thursday 27/11 were extremely helpful finding us a table and assisting with working our dietaries with their matrix.nnLady head chef on was lovely to us too!
We’ve been to this restaurant a few times now, and every visit has been consistently great.nnThe burgers are absolutely delicious juicy, flavorful, and always paired with quality chips.nnThe Cos salad is my go-to side fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed.nnThe steak is also impressive, cooked just right and full of flavor.nnThe service really stands out too; the staff are well-trained, friendly, and make you feel welcome every time.nnHighly recommend!
Everything was good. The standout dishes were definitely the focaccia and the anchovy on toast. The burger was pretty good as well. I was recommended the seafood pie, but it wasn't really to my taste. The steak was alright, but I wouldn't be in a hurry to order it again. The starters are definitely a great choice here.
