Great $15 counter lunch special during the week. I went for the rump steak which was cooked to perfection and was really tender for rump. Generous serve of salad and crispy chips. Choice of many sauces also, I went for the Diane sauce which went perfect with the smoky flavored steak. Highly recommend if you want a little more than a takeaway lunch and have the time for a sit down meal. Friendly staff and laid back atmosphere.

The drinks menu is okay, but some options were limited or overpriced for what you get. The food was decent but nothing special, and service was a bit slow during busy times. Overall, it’s an alright spot to hang out casually, but it could use some improvements in speed, variety, and value to make it a standout choice.
Ordered our entree's which was Cheese Garlic Bread and a regular Garlic Bread both were nice, My partner and I ordered the Rump Steak and the kids order the Aussie Burger. Our main meals came out as soon as we had first slice of Garlic Bread, My steak which was supposed to be cooked rare, half was cooked medium and the other side was rare however tasted dried, my partner steak was cooked medium rare. The steaks are just not good quality. Kids loved their burgers though. Chips were nicely cooked. Service was super quick, Staff were friendly.nnUpdate:nWe did mentioned to the waitress about main meals coming out too early.
They cater for my wife who is a hyper sensitive Coeliac, great range of gluten free meals.nFood quality is superb and service is very friendly.nOnly downside for me is that there isn't a pool table, but happy hours are amazing!
Thank you Central Tavern. You provided exactly what I wanted and more.nPitty about the Uber Eats driver who was not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I know that is not your control.nThank you so much, I really enjoyed and appreciated the meal
