This morning I go to get some coffee for myself and the family. I ordered a medium iced long black and a large flat white with almond milk. Now this I don’t usually mind but it’s important for later. I pull up to the second window where I’m instructed to go into a waiting bay odd considering their are no cars behind and not one passes from behind me while waiting. I then received two hot McCafe cups thinking oh might be out of their iced cups only to receive a scolding hot cup of black coffee if you can call it that it tasted like they’ve reused the coffee grounds numerous time. The staff member whom I’m assuming knew they had messed up ran off back inside before I had even the chance to advise the coffee order was messed up. Now I want to preface I usually don’t complain about these sorts of things, but I’ve paid for something and when I don’t get what I paid for I am rather frustrated.
The food is good when it’s made correctly though that’s only 1/10 times that will happen. You ask for something to be removed and staff there don’t do it and you find it in your food. When you call to complain it’s the same robotic response from management saying they’ll train their staff to “ensure it doesn’t happen again” though it always does. This is why I make the drive to the north lakes store instead because at least they’ll listen and follow orders that come through and take things off like ordered. This stores staff all need to do better and I think it seriously needs intervention from head office. The amount of times I’ve complained about this QC issue and it’s never resolved makes me wonder how often food is actually being checked to make sure that it’s made to order.
We joined the drive thru line at 10:25 and by the time we got to the ordering machine it was 10:33. The guy placing the order told us that since it was already 3 past 10:30 we couldn't order the hot cakes. I honestly think a little bit of consideration would have been nice since we had arrived before 10:30 and had to wait in the drive thru lane. We decided to just order a banana bread because all we wanted were hot cakes and the damn banana bread was burnt to crisp.
Well McDonald’s have been slipping for quite awhile but this morning at 9:30 am was the worst experience ever. I went with my grandkids to treat them. The chips were rubbery. Muffins were not available. Items were missing from my order only supplied 2 serviettes for six people.nWhile we had the staff cheering all the time every time they served somebody in the drive-through something to do with speed I take itnnI’d rather go to a cafe and pay $100 $59 for five of us at McDonald’s was disgusting value
I got Uber eats from McDonald in Burpengary. It is only 5 mins away from me lazy I know but I did had a few drinks earlier so I was being safe it only took the 5 mins once the driver left the store to get here but it was shockingly all so cold and the nuggets were almost rock hard. I didn’t want to eat any of it and it all went in the bin. It was just food poisoning waiting to happen.nShocked that staff would let food go in that condition. I don’t expect too much from McDonald’s but wow that was ridiculously and just a massive food safety issue. Are the staff not trained at all?nScary!nGot a refund though : thanks Uber eats
