Story

Renowned for it’s spectacular 180 degree views of the Swan River, Perth City and Kings Park, The Boatshed Restaurant was built in 1995 by owner Graeme Millar after realizing the potential to deliver an exceptional dining experience at the iconic Coode Street location.

Designed to complement the natural surroundings of Sir James Mitchell Park with an elegant, warm and inviting interior, the restaurant maximises its unrivalled panoramic view with floor to ceiling glass windows.

Passionate determination and unwavering commitment to deliver the finest quality food and service for over 18 years has allowed The Boatshed to become one of the most respected restaurants in Perth.

Serving Modern Australian cuisine, we can cater for all your needs. Whether it be a special lunch or romantic dinner, a corporate, social or cocktail function, or just a casual beer or wine after work, we will look after you.

We also have a more relaxed coffee shop on the western side, open from 8am
7 days a week, serving coffee and cake, breakfast, light lunches, and ice-creams. Perfect for parents enjoying a coffee while the kids play in the cubby house style playground.

Valentines 2018
The food was amazing
The service was fantastic
The location and restaurant was beautiful

This was the first time my partner and myself have been to The Boat Shed and it wont be the last.

Excellent meal.  I had oysters and the miso salmon, both of which were very very good , and the olive oil cake, which was fine but not remarkable.  Good view, fantastic staff (very attentive and professional).  I think the menu could do with a few more choices but overall I would recommend it.

Wonderful memories at our favorite restaurant. My wife and i were married here and always enjoy the food and service whether for lunch or a romantic dinner. It never fails to deliver a 5 star experience.
