Old school service with modern, beautiful food. This restaurant has been around for years and there is a reason for this.  I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was wonderfully surprised.  We had the 8  course degustation with accompanying wines. Was later told that the head chef Justine, is only 24 yrs old.  The dishes were tasty and beautiful, and quite generous in size. I lived in the moment and didn't distract myself by taking photos, but just HAD to have one of the souffle!

Just before Christmas, Friends hosted our private function for 85 guests.
This wasn't just your ordinary alternate drop style or fixed menu, this was a la carte choice of 3 dishes for each course. Clyde and Leslie's team knocked it out of the park. They worked with our entertainment, supplying the lighting and staging and managed the event. The food was seriously great as was the entire evening with first class service. Get someone else in Perth to do that as good on a Saturday night. Thanks guys.

We visited for the first time tonight and it will not be the last. It was one of the Best dining experiences we have ever had, and we cannot fault any of it.The waiting staff were so attentive, and explained how the menu would be served, my husband chose to have the wine accompanying each course, and each wine was introduced before pouring. Each course again was introduced as it was served, so we knew exactly what we were having. The owners Lesley and Clyde had a chat with all the tables, and on leaving Clyde presented me with the most beautiful rose.
The food, the drinks, and the staff were absolutely fabulous, 11 out of 10 for this establishment...thank you so much for a wonderful evening

Had a beautiful 5 course seafood degustation meal with matching wines. Everything perfect. Excellent flavours and presentation. Great service and atmosphere. Absolutely recommend having a dining experience at Friends.

I enjoyed a seafood degustation here recently. The food was all good, but wasn't bursting with flavour and the flavour combinations weren't very unique. The staff were quite friendly on arrival and departure, but the waitstaff did not give us the level of service I expected.
