The cockroach running around on our table was a little off putting! I think maybe a gesture of a discount could have been offered or at least a complimentary glass of wine! The table was rather dark but  the food tasted good.

Good food but too casual for fine dining. Staff are friendly but not great with service and the place requires a much needed facelift. The atmosphere is not quite there

I really enjoyed the Christmas degustation menu. This was my first time dining here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The courses were pretty well timed.  A few extra things were included, in the spirit of Christmas. Flavours were interesting and courses were beautifully presented.  The degustation was good value for money and servings were a good size.  The experience wasn't flawless though - the chairs were uncomfortable to sit in by the end of the night.  One savoury dish was too salty for our taste. The main dessert was a bit too heavy for our liking.  My stand outs were the Panna Cotta (I've never before had one this amazing), the scallops and the pork belly (so delicious).

I've wanted to come here for a long time and I wasn't disappointed. Even better, the 7 courses were on special! The food & presentation were amazing (way better than I was expecting for the price). We have failed to find a really nice restaurant (that isn't over priced) in such a long time. Well done Red Cabbage!  Now that we have been, we will definitely return. The only small issue we found were the chairs being uncomfortable. We were seated for 2.5hrs and whilst they looked like beautiful wooden seats they hurt our backs. If I was to be super picky, for an expensive style restaurant I was surprised to hear the phone ringing for quite some time, loudly, when we arrived.
