I have come to Elsternwick Telstra store for years and was always impressed by their service, until my experience today dealing with their Store Manager Kyle. He refused to offer any assistance, and he attitude was abhorrent. He wouldn’t provide any details to make a complaint or any assistance despite the store only having one customer and five staff; I was told I should have booked an appointment and that they wouldn’t assist me anyway. Telstra should really consider who they place in store as leadership. Clearly his job title has gone to his head, and the vibe of the store is dreadful as a result. As someone who spends thousands of dollars on personal and business spending through Telstra I’m severely disappointed in this kind of service. Most of the team were fantastic, but he needs to go.
I have very bad experience. I need use my member point and bay product first she said I will check price come back my computer block can you wait next available person I said thanks. After me 3 person walked in and service provided. She get upset and ask one of member said he is waiting. One of male person with costumer said. “ I don’t care he has to wait “ I keep waiting even costumer he is serving said “ you can look after him” He get upset come to me a and I explain to him I need use my member points he said give your license. I said I m here I can open my app tell my number tell my birthday why you need my license I don’t want open new account. He said you have to give me license otherwise no service. I said where is said I have to give my personal information, I m here I can tell my detail for confirmation. He said give me your License I said can you right on paper and sign what you telling me. I will complain about you. Then Ryan storms out back room said what’s your problem if I ask you license you have to give me. Give me your license. I said first who you and why you ordered me. Can I have your name he right peace of sticker paper “ Ryan “ I said surname or worker number. He said I give my name enough for you. I said you asked my license but you can’t give your information and don’t talk to me like that you have no authority to ask my license. I will compliant how to talk to me. I walked out I don’t want other people affected in shop. I walk across road for my car he fallow me I believe get my number plate because they don’t get my name or number yet. I walk opposite side 7 8 shop after Telstra shop I call Telstra for complain. He stay outside and watching me apox. 20 minutes talking Telstra complain line. What a service Ryan wait and fallowing me 20 minutes costumer waiting inside for service. When you open to shop website 3 photos one on the middle said he has to wait I don’t care. Right corner hero Ryan Abusive and fallow costumer. And don’t know policy when you question him he be come a hero. Never ever again deal with Telstra because of him.
My credit ran out so I phoned them to give them money & sign up to a permanent plan. Got voicemail. Left detailed message each time. Did this three days in a row. Never got a return call. Back to polite, friendly, available Aldi.
Went in store at midday so we can note, not even close to closing time. Explained that I knew what phone and plan I wanted but thought it was best to come in store as I wanted to change providers. The staff member told me there were no more appointments for the day. I asked if there was an online booking system that I hadn't seen. He said no. That you need to come to the store when they open and wait until you are able to be seen. Is that to say the two customers that I could hear discussing their new phones and plans had been waiting to be seen for 3 hours? He then said "come tomorrow. No don't, we don't have enough staff. Come Monday morning when we open"
I've been dealing with this store for years, they used to be fantastic when they had a franchisee here, he really cared about customers. Now they don't give a toss. The worst of all is their supposed "manager" Kyle Redublo. He really doesn't give a hoot. If you don't want to be treated like doggy doo, don't go there. I wish I could rate it less than 1 star.
Had to try 3 separate occasions to book an appointment. Was then given the wrong appointment time via the text reminder. There was a young man who must screen people was very rude, dismissive and clearly doesn't know policies who just rolled his eyes when questioned. However the young lady that did eventually serve me was excellent
The Staff in this store very unprofessional and very shocking behavior. They are arguments with me and call me name. They are greeted me with rude manners. I paid my bill for your wages so please get some train for professional spoke than arguments and been rude to customers I would appreciate that. Thanks
My phone needed recharging and there was a problem getting to recharge. The problem was cleared immediately by a very efficient staff member. I was very relieved to know it was cleared with no further job or repair needed.
The service today was fantastic. I took my elderly mother to get a new phone as hers had become unusable due to all the 'cleaner' applications that she had installed. The guy who served us was brilliant. He suggested mum wait another 4 months when her plan ends to get a new phone and spent around 15 minutes cleaning up her phone for her.
I’m surprised to read the negative reviews here. I went in just before Christmas and couldn’t have had a more pleasant and efficient experience :
