Not happy with customer service at all. Waited at front for 10 minutes, completely ignored by staff. Eventually asked if I had to make an appointment. Was told by customer "service " staff member that they were busy at present and she would see if someone could add me to waiting list. She then went back to customer. I walked out. How Telstra expect to get new customers or even keep existing customers is amazing.
Bad bad service. Told you have points do you want to spend them. I did. Two months later starting taking $10 out of my bank account and told me i had signed up to pay this off. My sister moves over from nz and they tell her she cant get a sim card or home internet as she has no proof of address. So put it under my name but the run around. Walked out and went to Optus. Not a issue. Whats going on in there???
If you want to wait 5-10 minutes to be concierged then sit at a blank screen for 10 minutes until a salesperson gets to you, this is the place to be. Staff are friendly once you get to speak with them Handset prices way more expensive than Vodafone on day of visit, for exactly the same spec device
Telstra. Complete waste of time... Told online to make appointment in store. Did that and waited for 30mins then to be told, they can't help me use my upgrade and protect. Told I would receive a phone call! Didn't get a calll! Spend over 4/6 hours on chat and to be told to make a appointment for in store and I'd receive a call asap. Have many services with Telstra but this is a complete joke and waste of time.

I was served by Mattie who gave my husband and I very good service when buying a new phone. He also let us know about a problem with the account which helped us. We will be very happy to recommend Telstra Capalaba for anyone who needs help and good service.
Had been chosen for an in person interview after my application was reviewed for a casual job at Telstra Capalaba. Was left waiting for ages, interview lasted two minutes and was based solely on availability and not me as an employee. Was told I would hear a response within the week, tried messaging and calling the manager who approached me via message. Tried for 3 weeks with no response straight to voicemail and believed my number was blocked. Called from another number and the manager was mumbling and making random excuses, trying to fob me off. A minute later receiving a message saying I didn’t get the job. I still don’t understand what I did to deserve this, they chose my application and saw my video and chose me for an interview. Most unprofessional interview by the way, didn’t know how to communicate properly. I am just a 17 year old student looking to further my experience in a field which may be useful for me. Tried calling back for some feedback as they didn’t have the decency to even call me as they just provided me with a unclear text. Having wanted me as an employee and me taking time out of my day to attend the interview at their convenience, to then just talking about availability and not responding for weeks with me chasing up. Just to say I didn’t get the job, just bewildered me. I missed out on multiple other employment opportunities due to this. Managers name is Rihannan and I hope no one else waste’s their precious time with such an unprofessional employee and Telstra Capalaba should maybe rethink who is making hiring decisions there. I have been messed around my Telstra for months, so I put this review out to warn prospective employees, so please don’t waste your time on such an unprofessional company and manager as they will just mess you around like they did me.
Typical telstra. Always hit or miss. One day they tell you one thing, the next day they tell you another. On this occasion staff were less then helpful and actually told me false information about warranty. Told me they couldn't test a faulty battery amd sent me to a tech shop to get it replaced as my phone was out of warranty. I found out through another staff member on a separate day that my phone was in fact under warranty and helped me download an app to check it. The battery was faulty and needed replacement. Staff really need to all be on the same page...
