Today I specially took my dad to buy a laptop. The sales assistant who served us had a poker face the entire time. No smile. No introduction. Since my dad was in a hurry to get a laptop, I still went ahead and bought one. The laptop I chose comes in two colors, but he didn’t even bother to ask which one I wanted. He just coldly grabbed one, didn’t put it in a bag, and literally tossed the box to me. Not a single word throughout, as if I owed him money.nnI told him I wanted the black one instead of the silver one he gave me. To my surprise, he didn’t even know the laptop came in different colors. That’s really unacceptable for a salesperson. Then, still expressionless, he went to swap it and handed it back to me. In the end, I had to ask for a bag myself. He robotically fetched one, handed it over, and made us pack it ourselves — again, without saying a single word. His attitude was extremely rude.nnIt was a very, very, very disappointing shopping experience. The salespeople at Harvey Norman next door have a much better attitude. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the model I wanted, otherwise I definitely wouldn’t have spent a cent in this store that has zero service. Anyway, JB Hi-Fi in Capalaba is officially on my blacklist from now on.
JB HiFi Capalaba is my go to destination for electronics and home appliances. Every staff member I have come across has been friendly and helpful, and if they dont know the answer they find someone who does. They are competitively priced and always happy to price match where appropriate. The range is great and they are generally well stocked. Parking and access are easy too.
Dan was amazing - his customer service skills & technological knowledge were outstanding. He cut through all the BS & gave us exactly what we needed. We def. won't go anywhere else but JB HiFi Capalaba for any of our tech appliances, because of Dan!
