just had a great experience went in too get a charger for a laptop and straight away we had an amazing bright man help instantly and he showed us straight away, beautiful manners and very welcoming his name was mark big thumbs up
Highly recommend the Capalaba store! Excellent customer service. We purchased a TV and Jess went above and beyond to help us. Super fast and free delivery. I also called up after we had purchased to get some additional information about the tv to assist us with wall mounting and they were very helpful.
Great customer service. We arrived just after closing time and they let us in to buy a dvd player. We were so grateful having driven over 40 minutes in heavy Traffic to get there. Thank you so much.
Went in for a simple microSD card - knew exactly which one I wanted. Went to where they were located as they are locked up and there was a staff member assisting another customer at the time. They finished up and left the area after about 10 minutes, okay fine, the staff member will be back I thought and after waiting for 30 minutes, during which time I watched as one staff member stood in the middle on the store on a computer and even look at me, I had had enough. I walked out, went down the road to officeworks and was in and out within 5 minutes as they are not locked up and you can get which one you need and walk straight up to the registers. If you have to go to JBhifi, go to Carindale - the time you would spend driving there and back would still be less than waiting for someone to come and help you at Capalaba.
EXTENDED WARRANTY SCAMnThis isn’t a direct attack at the Capalaba store, but JB HIFI in general.nI purchased apple earbuds from the Capalaba store and was asked if I’d like the extended warranty - after the salesperson gave me the spiel on how easy it was to claim a new set if they did fail for whatever reason after the original warranty was out I was sold. Sucked innOnce the comms stopped working on my earbuds common for apple earbuds so I could no longer use for phone calls, I went into the store to see what could be done with my warranty - that’s when I learnt the EXTENDED WARRANTY is through a third party called ‘squaretrade’ and I was unable to do anything in the store about it - the salesperson again assured me it’s a simple process and worst case scenario I’ll have to send some pics as proof for claim.nOk no probs, I then had to go online and register to squaretrade - tell them the issue, only for them to come back and say that they will need to further test the earbuds so I need to package them and send to an electronic store in Victoria - an expense out of my own pocket which they will reimburse IF they are faulty! Soo what’s this electronic store going to do? Put them in their ear to see if I’m lying !? I don’t think so - this is all just one big SCAM in the hope I won’t see it through. And in the mean time I won’t have earbuds which I need for work!nI realise I should’ve read the fine print and not been so ignorant - but that doesn’t change the fact that this is a SCAM which jb hifi is profiting off and pushing their salespeople to sell! After a quick google all the evidence is there - but the fact they are still doing this has left me one pissed off customer who did like jb hifi as a store for years! I’ll no longer be shopping with them.
