Yes Optus Capalaba Park

First the battery of the optus phone I purchased starts failing within one year of purchase. I take it back to the store and ask for it to be replaced as is my right under Australian Consumer Law. After interrogating me as to whether I had dropped it - an argument they eventually gave up on as my phone looked immaculate and new without a scratch on it. They said they would have to send it away to be repaired. They refused to either provide a loan phone or simply replace it, despite my threatening to phone the telephone ombudsmen. The ombudsmen agreed they did not follow Australian Law and I was given a credit to my account supposedly towards purchasing a new loan phone if it happened again. After this I decided to have the account transferred into my name instead of my hubby. We went Saturday morning to get it done. The shop was deserted. The only two people serving were sitting and chatting to each other. The gentleman eventually acknowledged us but when we told him what we wanted done, stated it would be so much easier if we went home and did it online as if he transferred the account, it would take a couple of weeks to go through the channels. Both my hubby and I figured this was rubbish but he clearly would not help us so we left and did it ourselves online. It will take up to ten business days to change over. I feel there was no difference whether it was done by ourselves or in store. The staff member was just too lazy to help us. This is typical of this store. From the moment you walk in, everything is just too much bother. They don't seem terribly smart either. I eventually picked up my mobile after repair. I had to call in, no-one rang me. When I checked my messages, there was one from Optus saying my mobile was in store. Yep, they rang and left a message on the mobile being repaired that they did not give me a loan phone for and that I had complained about not being able to get messages for. So if you want indifferent and incompetent service from people you may be amazed can form sentences, this is the store for you. Otherwise, like me, plan on switching your phone service elsewhere or using another store.

I was absolutely appalled when I walked into the Capalaba Park Optus centre today. I walked in to speak to them regarding plans for my phone. However, I was remarkably dismayed at the lack of service and knowledge and willingness to help exhibited by the staff. It was apparent that they did not wish to assist with my inquiry. I was looking at transferring all my services to Optus after being a Telstra member for 18 years. Perhaps this is not such a good idea.

staff need to be trained properly we had different information told to us three days in a row by different staff and when you ask to speak to a manager they try to tell you the manager can not do anything different if I need to go to Optus again I won't be going back to the one in Capalaba park absolutely hopeless !!

well this great i get run around from you people, so you call this custom service????? I find this shocking and worse in world, plus when get help it over seas and can,t understand them.
