We had the worst experience ever using the party section. For context, we ordered a 3m balloon garland for $135. First of all, the lady couldn’t reach the bar on which the balloons were attached to so she had to call someone down who also took forever to actually get them down and my dad had to go help them. So I suggest that the store put appropriate adjustments into place so their staff can actually do their jobs. We had asked for a balloons bags twice but the short lady said, the first time, that they wouldn’t fit despite the garland being spilt into three parts and the second time, she just flat out ignored me, even though she was standing there doing nothing whilst the other team member got the balloons down. I have seen with my own two eyes, larger balloons and garlands in those bags. Considering how windy it was over the past weekend, those bags would have been extremely helpful in transport and we would have happily paid for them. The customer service was horrible but the actual quality of the garland was worse. They had given us filler balloons just in case but I seriously don’t understand why it couldn’t be already attached to the garland, seems like someone couldn’t finish their job before our pickup. Because we had no bags, some balloons eventually ended up becoming unattached and popping in transport but that’s also because the balloons were loosely attached to each other with a thin string. When we got home, that’s when we noticed that the balloons had dirt and hair all over them so I seriously don’t know where Big W are storing these balloons but it’s certainly not a clean place. I also have the pictures to prove it! This was a massive waste of $135. If you want to use this service, I suggest YOU DON’T and instead use a small local business or go a couple hundred metres down the road to Spotlight.

Took too long to be delivered.nThey used eParcel Australia Post couriers that delivered the package with damaged cardboard box, blue packing straps not even intact.nContents squashed, smashed & broken open. Disgusting lack of care of customers purchase.
