Bought my new phone from the Telstra shop in Bridge Mall a while ago and the phone has been fabulous. Tahlia looked after me there and nothing was too much trouble for her - from my initial enquiry to showing me options I was interested in to transferring my data from old to new. Such friendly, professional service from Tahlia, she was terrific from start to finish!! No pushy sales tactics, Tahlia took the time to ensure I received what I needed. Thank you Tahlia
Thalia apologies young lady if I misplaced your name incorrectly. You have from the moment I have meet you have nothing but been friendly easy to converse with professional and always have a solution to any tech problem or suggest a product I might benefit from? The manager and the rest of the staff are always approachable and friendly and always willing to help at a moment’s notice. I even got a Kit Kat chocolate whilst I waited whilst the system the IT end of the business took its time to upload. The staff were engaging and chatting away in the most respectful way as if we have known each other for many years. Thalia you need to be promoted my dear! You have the drive and I sense you have leadership skills with an approach of humility! I have no hesitation in recommending the Telstra Retail Store in Bridge Mall Ballarat Central. If you have a Telstra product and have any issues with you Telstra account you have a team here waiting to be at your service at once. They will exceed your expectations and if your technical issue is not resolved or not able to be resolved right at that moment on the day expect a follow up direct call from either the staff member you have dealt with or any other team member from Telstra Bridge Mall Ballarat Central Victoria Australia. Customer service 0/10 - unfriendly staff, don’t apologise for wait, dismissive, & rude. Convenience 0/10 - wait times of over an hour only told when I asked, no appointment booking service. Metaphorically, Telstra is like a dirty public toilet when you have to go. You have no other options. Telstra’s reply below still doesn’t acknowledge that their staff were rude and dismissive. It’s possible to be ‘busy’ and still polite to staff. How else does someone expect to run a successful business? Does the store have to be ‘quite’ before I can expect to be treated with respect?

Massive shout out to Lloyd! Went in yesterday and got the Samsung S23 Ultra and even though there were only three workers on and it there was a line to the door, he kept a smile and had amazing customer service! Your effort didn't go unnoticed! Keep up the good work!
Had an issue with upgrading my Internet speed over the app, order was “lost” and subsequently cancelled. Tried again over the phone, again a week goes by and still no change to internet speed and then Telstra cancelled the order again. Went into the Ballarat store and spoke to Jacqui who was very friendly and was just as confused as I was about why such a simple change to a plan was such a hassle. She passed it on to her manager Aidan who set everything up for me and the issue was resolved the following day. Jacqui kept me informed via email of when everything was good to go and kept her promise that this issue would be fixed. I had intentions of disconnecting my internet service with Telstra altogether if this issue wasn’t resolved after my third attempt at a simple speed change, however Jacqui and Aidan’s customer service was exceptional that I will remain a Telstra customer.
